Henan Provincial Metallurgical Planning, Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Henan Metallurgy Institute" or the "Company") was formerly known as Henan Provincial Metallurgical Planning and Design Research Institute. It was established in 1958 and, with the approval of the People's Government of Henan Province in 2007, was restructured into its current form — Henan Provincial Metallurgical Planning, Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd. The Company is headquartered at No. 37 Huanghe Road, Zhengzhou City, Henan Province.

Henan Metallurgy Institute is a professional service provider covering the full industry chain of mineral exploration, metallurgical engineering design, engineering consulting, and EPC (Engineering–Procurement–Construction) contracting. Our services span solid mineral exploration; mine mining, beneficiation and tailings engineering design; metallurgical, coking and building materials engineering design; green mine and intelligent mine construction; comprehensive utilization evaluation of industrial solid waste; geological hazard prevention and control; geological hazard risk assessment; land reclamation; energy conservation assessment; energy management; and low-carbon technology solutions.

Beyond our headquarters in Zhengzhou, we operate branches in Panzhihua (Sichuan), mine and metallurgical offices in Guizhou, and representative offices in Shandong, Yunnan, and Shaanxi.
