Date:2025-06-16

On the morning of June 11th, our college organized a fire safety training session in the conference room on the third floor. Ms. Liu Yanan, an instructor from the Henan Provincial Fire Protection Association's Volunteer Fire Safety Popularization and Publicity Service Team, was invited to give the lecture.

Instructor Liu explained the laws and regulations concerning work safety, analyzed typical safety accident cases, and used these cases to illustrate the law, emphasizing the three-tiered safety responsibility system and strengthening safety awareness. She presented shocking fire accident cases, combining them with everyday work and life scenarios such as office buildings, residences, and vehicles, to introduce the causes, development patterns, emergency response measures, and safe escape methods of fires. She also offered professional prevention suggestions for common safety hazards such as electrical overload, aging wiring, and gas leaks. Finally, she demonstrated the use of dry powder and water-based fire extinguishers, chemical oxygen fire-fighting breathing apparatus, fire blankets, and other fire-fighting equipment. The training was conducted entirely through a question-and-answer format, creating a lively atmosphere and demonstrating high levels of enthusiasm for learning, resulting in excellent outcomes.

Through this training, participants acquired knowledge on fire hazard prevention and emergency response, improved their emergency response capabilities, and strengthened their awareness of fire safety responsibilities. This has played a positive role in further enhancing the company's fire safety management level.

In short, fire safety is related to everyone's life and property safety, requiring everyone's action. Only through the joint efforts of the whole society, enhancing fire safety awareness, improving fire-fighting facilities, and enhancing emergency response capabilities can we effectively prevent fires and reduce the losses caused by fires. We must learn from this training and apply fire safety knowledge to our daily lives to safeguard our own and others' lives and property.
